Excellent post, Sean. I’ve spent a large chunk of the last 25 years trying to figure out what masculinity means. The way you’ve described it (“True masculinity is the ability to hug the world in a loving embrace and to let the world hug you back”) comes about as close to a satisfying definition as any I’ve come across.
